Emma Bowen, LSW

You are so worthy of happiness and peace. That may not feel possible right now—but I promise, it is. I would be honored to walk beside you to help you get there. Healing from trauma can feel overwhelming. Sometimes we cling to what’s familiar, even when it no longer serves us. My goal is to help you release what’s weighing you down and move toward what brings you peace, clarity, and connection. You deserve to trust yourself, feel safe in your body, and experience joy again. My style is warm and compassionate, but also direct—I aim to hold space for you with care while challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

I am an EMDR-trained, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship wounds, disordered eating, identity exploration, and life transitions. I bring both professional experience and lived experience into my work—I've been where you might be now: reading therapists’ bios, unsure if change is really possible. It is.

I believe in finding that sweet spot: where you feel deeply supported but also empowered to grow, even when it’s hard. I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to helping my clients heal from within through EMDR, mindfulness, and experiential methods. You don’t have to do this alone. I'd be grateful to be a part of your healing journey.
